Clothing doesn’t need to match – just needs to blend. In the shot above, both mom and son are wearing denim, but because they’re different types of denim it blends rather than looking over-done. White can be a tricky color to shoot outdoors, especially if you have pale or light skin since the white will often act as a harsh reflector under your face. Very dark skin tones can also be effected by wearing white, since it will almost always blow out unless lighting conditions are perfect.
